It seems that Cisco's growth is becoming more reliant on its service provider and small and medium business sales rather than its traditional stronghold in enterprises. Even technology areas where IT executives say they want to spend, such as security and wirless, are slated as areas where spending will drop below expectations. Branch office spending will fall shor of expectations, despite recent Cisco efforts to beef up its branch office router line.
