NAC and compliance

So you've referenced "many" a few times in the article. How are people ensuring common policies across the enterprise? Are they using separate authentication devices like an Avenda Systems device? How are they storing information about the clients and what is accessed? Are they using Forensic tools like a NIKSUN? does anyone have a good topology or whitepaper on how multiple devices create a complete solution for NAC/NAP deployments?

thanks
