Microsoft lifts licensing restriction on virtual servers; Check Point goes virtual




Microsoft today confirmed it will eliminate a licensing restriction that prevented customers from moving virtualized applications to a different server more frequently than every 90 days; Check Point Software is introducing a version of its VPN-1 software that runs on VMware ESX or ESXi servers to protect virtual machines from one another when they are running on a single piece of hardware.
